Failing on simple overlapping assembly (by Basse)
Hi,

I fail on creating the attached object in Solvespace. I could easily create the two balls and the pipe. It also was very easy to constraint the end of the pipe to the respective circle. But neither assemble, nor union created an exportable stl in the end. I tried to vary the force nurb to triangles, it seem to not work.

Sometimes it says valid, but the slicer doesn't like it.

Any tip ?

Cheers

this worked first time - using half-shape, lathe - perfect STL

Basse,

See the attached files that demonstrate how to accomplish what you're trying to do. I've checked it in a slicer and I was able to get everything to work fine.

If you have any questions let me know.
