Would you design the curved natured of the final structure first or would you build it flat and then curve it?
If you would wait, how would you curve it? I'm willing for the challenge come tomorrow but I'm a little lost on the approach to on how to handle it.

There's no way to draw it flat and then curve it. I think your best bet is to start with the spherical part, using the lathe tool.

Okay. It'll be first time using the lathe tool. Should be interesting tomorrow.
