Nouvelle version ? (by Joliez)
Bonjour,
Je m'adresse aux développeurs, une nouvelle version de solvespace est-elle envisagée ?
Merci

3.2 should come soon-ish.
In the meantime you can always use this:
https://github.com/solvespace/solvespace#via-automated-edge-builds
It is built automatically from the latest code.
The improvements compared to the latest release (in this case 3.1) are (usually) listed here:
https://github.com/solvespace/solvespace/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md

Regarding constraints on parallel faces (3.2), how can I select faces for STL assemblies?

You (currently) can not. The STL format is just a bunch of triangles and we (currently) import the triangle mesh as a "blob" and the abstraction of "face" is not there.

I had considered grouping triangles into faces if their normal is aligned with a principle axis. They'd need to be grouped by distance along that axis.
Not sure how useful that would be.
Sorting and collections in C++ isn't really my cup of tea though :-)
