Change origin or rotate object? (by Kevin)
I've just completed my first drawing with SolveSpace and realized after I exported to STL that I didn't have the object in the correct orientation. I can always fix it in my slicer software, but would prefer if the STL were just in the "correct" orientation.
My initial sketch was on the XY plane, but it would have made more sense for me to have use the XZ plane. Is there any way to rotate the initial sketch about the origin or swap the plane?
Thanks,
Kevin

You could link/assemble into a blank file, which allows the model to be rotated. Alternatively, see if you slicer allows an export of current plate as an stl, and save the rotation applied by the slicer. Note, you can change the drawing plane b selecting the required plane a clicking 'sketch in workplane' even if it is already selected.

Thanks for the reply. I may have to settle for the assembly approach. I'm still actively working on the drawing, so either re-orienting or re-exporting from the slicer is a bit tedious.
