Unfold 3D surface for gluing paper? (by Csányi Pál)
Hi,
can I unfold the 3D surface of an object that I created in SolveSpace for gluing paper?
I would make a 3D object, unfold its surface into 2D, and then print it out on cardboard, cut it out, and glue it together to make the 3D object in real.
Can I do it with SolveSpace?

There's no "unfold" like in real sheet metal software. Best you can do is to export one face at a time, and then reassemble them in a plane drawing yourself.

You could look at Blender and the UV mapping support.
