Inverted difference (by David Given)
I have two sketches, A and B. They have to be in that order because B has constraints on A. I extrude them: the group stack now contains A A' B B'.

If I set the boolean mode for B' to DIFFERENCE, then the result is A' - B'. Is there a way to get B' - A' instead?

You can't get B'-A'. directly. however what you can do is create a construction sketch to set your critical dimensions, and use that to constrain the sketches B and, A in that order. That way you get the difference that you want.

Ah, yes, that makes a lot of sense --- it avoids the dependency ordering problem. Thanks!
