why does lathe of a constrained sketch introduce 3 degrees of freedom? (by ecc)
If I start with a fully-constrained 2D sketch and lathe it, why does the resulting object have 3 degrees of freedom?

What version of SolveSpace? Can you provide the simplest sketch that does this? I am not able to reproduce the issue.

Any lathe in version 2.3 show 3 dof in the lathe group, for any lathe I have tried., but nothing can be grabbed and moved. So it looks like a minor bug. Version 3 show 0 dof.for lathe groups, including one created in version 2.3.

FYI in 2.3 Lathe created a duplicate copy of entities as if it were a Revolve operation taken to 360 degrees. The redundant copy is gone now, so some old models may break if they happened to build on the copy that is no longer there. I ran into this myself and just had to reapply a few constraints, but it could be better or worse than that.
