How can I share dimensions between 2 designs after the fact? (by ecc)
I've designed an enclosure that I now realize needs a separate, matching piece.

If I did it over again, I'd have them both import a common file with the relevant dimensions.

Is there any way to do something equivalent to this now, without redoing all my work?

Import the first one into the second one and suppress its solid model?

Still pretty inexperienced -- how does one suppress the solid model (in this case done through a number of successive extrusions) after importing?

The imported part should show up as a single group, and there should be a checkbox in the browser thing for that group marked "suppress".
