New to this software. (by Martin H)
I just discovered Solverspace. I see no threads after 2021 in this forum. Is this still supported or used, or has the project been abandoned? I just upgraded to Windows 11 64 bit, will the software run on 11?

It is not abandoned. I see 90+ threads started or updated in 2024.
It runs on anything after Windows 7.
This forum and the development (see the GitHub project if you want) of SolveSpace are not "high traffic", but have been active non-stop since 2008.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I missed the lates threads. I'm looking forward to trying this out as a possible replacement for FreeCad and Sketchup.
noob finds small Text inconsisties in bracket Tutorial (by Tverrbjelke)
Hei,
I was inspired by a full blooded genius to try out solvespace. I met him in a hackerspace and was astonished by his creations. Now lets find out by myself :-) As full noob I only "programmed" openscad to 3D-print me some needed things.
[x] successfully downloaded and compiled latest stable 3.1 from source on my debian system. Your instructions there are nice and helpful. (I had to git checkout 3.1 to get it done - simply using HEAD resulted in cmake errors. Maybe you forgot to add+commit some files.)
[x] found plenty of tutorials, I start with the very initial ones on your website here.

"If the text window is not visible, then choose View → Show Text Window or press Tab.) " The Version 3.1 menu item has a different name for this: "Property Window".
I am just curious where to post such minor issues, so you can improve your docs. Would THIS place be the best, or where would I contact you to report issues?
