Dissappearing constraints in 3.2! (by ultropolis)
Hey guys I am super happy to see 3.2 is ready, but there is a feature/bug that is ruining my life:

example 1:
- draw an arc
- draw a line
- constrain the radius of the arc (to 1, say)
- set arc length and line length equal
- drag line to be longer than the possible curcumference of the arc

Effect: Error box + all relevant constraints disappear.
if you drag the line to a non erronious position, the constraints stay deleted

Example 2:
- draw two lines
- set one line to length=1 and one line to length=2
- set both lines equal

effect: Error box + both lengths, and equal length deleted.

I mistaken apply erronious constraints all the time! Frequently the screen goes red for a moment when I drag things around.

For the love of god how do I make 3.2 not remove constraints just because of a solve error?? I have had models ruined by this! (using the pre-release 3.2) Am I doing something wrong? Is there a secret setting? is this a bug?

I so wish to use 3.2!

Thanks, and I appreciate all of everybody's work!

I tried both of these scenarios. You are correct that after the error box, all constraints relating to the sketch entities are removed. I'll have to check version 3.1 but I believe you that it may be different. Using "allow redundant constraints" does not help either!

One suggestion: When this happens, immediately after the error box is dismissed, press CTRL-Z to undo the last operation(s) that resulted in the error. This will restore the last valid model state including restoring the constraints that got deleted.

BTW I absolutely love being able to test these issues right in the browser using the web version!
