Chain of constrains (by Tomasz)
Hi
I am trying to use chain of constrains in 3D model.

I created two triangles with freedom to rotate around one side, and I would like to connect free corners with distance constrain. To make them both move together.

Finally I would create whole car suspension model, but now I stuck on some very basics.

When I add this constrain it is marked as "reference" and I still can move independently each triangle, and reference value changes.
When I manually switch off "reference" - solver complains about constrains redundancy.

What I am doing wrong? Is there any good tutorial for things like that?
I found only tutorials with multi links on one plain, while I would like to use it in full 3D.

I am using version binary version 3.1 for Windows.

Model attached.

I searched myself and I can answer for someone with similar problem.

Key i understanding between sketch in plane (shift+W) and in 3D (shift+3).

Objects that needs to change it 3D position and/or orientation should be created first as constrained points in 3D, then built around them solid object.

My first tries in simple MacPherson attached - there is DOF for lower arm, and steering rod.
It is not dimension accurate, but resembles principles of Honda Civic VII front suspension.
