Rounding edges of extruded object? (by Joe McDaniel)
I have an extruded circle (disk) -- I can't figure out how to round the edges. I could draw the outline and rotate it, but most 3D programs have a way to round edges. In the sample file, the large disk is the one I would like rounded.

The combo: `SHIFT + A` will replace a corner between two line segments with an arc that is automatically tangent to both line segments. We can adjust the radius/diameter of the curvature. So this software will require the modeler to build in the curvatures. Since the part has rotational symmetry about an axis, I just drew the side view and rotated it around using the "Lathe" action which is applied with the `SHIFT + L` combo. See the attached SolveSpace file for a demonstration.

I did the Lathe approach, too. Rounding the edges of an extrusion would still be a good feature. TinkerCAD has this.
