Linked solid model displays as a wireframe (by wolfv)
I started a new file and linked to a .slvs solid model.
The sold model is displayed as a wireframe.
Is there a way to display it as a solid model?
The issue is in the attached file main/2_rough_frame_1.slvs
I am using SolveSpace 3.1

Two replies missing from this thread. (by wolfv)
The "Forum threads" says "Linked solid model displays as a wireframe (Mon Mar 24 2025, 04:15:11, 3 replies)".
It says "3 replies"!
But when I view the thread, I see only 1 reply dated Mar 16 2025.
Does anyone see the last two replies?

Your problem is that the original object had a group with NURBS forced to triangle mesh (forcing the whole object to triangles) - when you link to it in a new object, Solvespace fails to set the same option on the assembled group, and the result is no visible solid. It's a known bug, there's even an issue about it somewhere. But all you need to do is check that option manually for the group of the linked/assembled part ("force NURBS surfaces to triangle mesh") and you get your solid back...
