Create grooves in recessed surface (by Gian)
Hello,
I am want to create a grooved recessed surface.
So I draw a sawtooth polygon on a workplane perpendicular to the recessed surface, extrude that polygon as difference.
But there are no grooves, only sawtooth holes on side.
Is there a mode to create that grooves?
See attached test project.

Gian,

It looks like you drew the saw teeth too deep on the part and that they are cut from underneath where you'd want. I'm not sure exactly how you want this to look, but attached is my best attempt at making what I think you're going for.

Daniel,
thank you very much, closing the sawtooth figure on top and not on bottom is the trick that works.
More, I was wrong putting the sawtooth on external side of solid. This creates the holes on side.
I have to put the sawtooth on recess face.
Attached the final project.
