Expanding Image sketch with legend to known dimensions? (by John)
I have an image where I know the actual diameter of a circle and length of a line. I would like to place this in SolveSpace such that SolveSpace dimensions/length reflect that of the original image. I would like the origin of the circle to be in the center of the sketch.
How is this accomplished in some general steps?
I tried creating a set of reference points, then points on the image with D crossing the diagonals, however when I try to constrain these points (the legend length or circle) to the reference length, it's unsolvable and the image won't expand/contract size to fit. I was trying to create two points across the legend of the original image, constraint their distance with three length constraints each to the image diagonal points, then constrain with another distance 0 to two points of the reference length hoping the image would resize.

I figured that out, thanks anyway. Created a line A with known length somewhere, placed line over legend image and used it a reference length constraint B, then placed line over diagonal of image C in which this was Z equal proportions to B.
