Constrain to a a range? (by Randall Lee Reetz )
Example: Constrain horizontal movement between two limits (right and left).

Example: Constrain along line between that line's end points.

Example: Constrain angle between two lines between two extremes (-90 and 47).

Example: Constrain the free movement of one object or line or point within the bounds of another object.

How?????

Range limited constraints are not currently supported. For example, point-on-line constraint uses the mathematical definition of a line (infinite length) and does not restrict movement to the portion of the line between end points. That type of constraint might be added in the future but not now.

The attached sketch has the movement of the center of two circles constrained via construction geometry. The first to a line movement, the second to an angle.. Temporary use of constraints can be used to set the sketch at one limit, and the deleted before setting the length of the hinged line pair to the length offered by the program. I.e for the angle example, constrain the circle center to one of the angle limit lines, and the hing lines to be parallel, then delete these constrints and set the length.
