Constrain distance (by eSlavko)
Hello...
I'm new on solvespace, and have trouble with dimension constrain.
Totally confused about planes.
For example I open solvespace and draw triangle with bottom line NOT horizontal.
Then I want to measure horizontal distance of bottom line, but I got length of bottom line instead.
Can someone provide step by step guide how to do that?
Thanks
p.s.
using solvespace 3.0

Select the two endpoints of the line, and the horizontal coordinate axis (the red arrow of the red-green-blue), then constrain distance.

Thanks.. It works

Or simply look at "proj_d" in the text window when you select the coordinate axis and the two points.
