STL Export Failing with error: "Active group mesh is empty; nothing to export" (by Andrew E.)
Sorry if this is a noob question, but I couldn't find an answer in the docs or threads, and my previous drawing exported without an issue.
The attached drawing gives the error "Active group mesh is empty; nothing to export" whenever I click 'save', no other dialog appears. I tried activating different groups, but always got the same error. Is the issue that it doesn't understand what I want to export?

Andrew,
Did you click file->export triangle mesh? When I did that it saved the part as a .stl without issue. If there's any other info you could provide on what you're trying to do that could be helpful.

Apologies, yes; file -> export triangle mesh -> save -> "Active group mesh is empty; nothing to export"
This was running solvespace 2.3 on Ubuntu 20 Focal. I just realised the distro version is old, so trying again with solvespace 3.1 I got a self intersection error on the mesh when exporting. This was likely the issue all along.
