Kinematics (by Tim Goymerac)

Need to find a modeler for link interference used for part design and machining.
Since Auto Desk pulled the program "Force Affects Motion", my only method to find an interference with linkage motion is by iteration using Via CAD again, and agin. A four bar link is the peramater for the Kinematics.

Is it possible for SolveSpace solver to find link interference without using iterations?

Have you looked at the tutorial on linkages, linked from the tutorials section, which describes how to animate linkages, which allows you to look for interference's.

Thank you (by Tim Goymerac)
Andrew:

That information about the tutorial that describes how to animate linkages is fantastic.
I have searched for years to find a Kinematic program that didn't cost $5000.00 to $10000.00.

Thank you for the inormation.

The tutorials on linkages is great. After finishing it, it will leave you asking for more. Modeling the 3d models like the crank that is part of the tutorial was not done. It is assumed you can model these parts yourself. Can somebody finish the linkage tutorial for us. Specifically how the crank and the other 3d models were modelled in solvespace

The models are in the zip file (mechanisms.zip) at the bottom of the tutorial. As are the models for all tutorials.
