Corrupted solvespace files (by Ben)
Hello and thanks for the fantastic program!

Some of my designs seem to be getting corrupted - I am not sure how this happens. When I open them solvespace simply crashes and gives the following terminal output :

connect failed: No such file or directory
File ./src/dsc.h, line 526, function FindById:
Assertion failed: t != nullptr.
Message: Cannot find handle.
Aborted (core dumped)

Is there anything I can do to recover my files? I attach a file for which this is happening.

Ben

Indeed. It is this bug:

You have used a workplane created from a point and a normal in your model with an "intermediate" version of SolveSpace. Later we broke compatibility with such models.

Here is a version that can open your model https://github.com/ruevs/solvespace/releases/tag/WindowsXPPost3.0_2
but the situation is not good anyway.
