copy and "paste transformed " don't works as expected in my hands !
How to proceed to get a symmetrical copy of a drawing in a workplane other than from the origin...

You can copy in one sketch, and paste into a different sketch on a different plane. You can create the sketch before or after the copy, whichever is easier. Just make sure the sketch you want is active for the copy or the paste, or paste transformed operation.
