I just downloaded solvespace using snap and the pan and rotate features are not working with my mouse and it is very frustrating, any suggestions?

These could be permission-related issues related to the snap format of software-delivery and the (binary/OS related) dependencies and usage of interfaces that snap introduces to solvespace.
Too lazy to find out, I just worked around snap it by building it from source using the instructions: clone, populate the submodules via git, and run cmake and make install (linux). Bonus is that you can make your own source-modifications right away.
