How to fix the self-intersecting mesh? (by Ektor)
Hi everyone.I tried to make a "Fusion 360 monthly challenge" with solvespace.
With a little bit of trouble, I succeeded.
But when exporting to stl. It shows me an error window :
The mesh is self-interscting (NOT okay, invalid).
The mesh has naked edges (NOT okay, invalid).
471 problematic edges, bad.
The model contains 11788 triangles, from 0 surfaces. With a little bit of trouble, I succeeded.
But when exporting to stl. It shows me an error window :
I don't know how to fix these errors.
I pass you the file and the link of the video :)

Check the exported STL, it looks O.K on my system.

O_o
strange, I don't have to do it right.
for the export, I select the option :
Export triangle mesh from the option menu

I tried to export again in stl.
but it still doesn't work. looking at other threads, it advises to increase chord tolerance
but even so, I still have problems «self intersection»
To export to STL I use the function : export triangle mesh

Have you actually looked at the .STL, as i got a good export despite the warning appearing on screen.

Hello.
I had not understood that an stl file could be correct even with all the errors displayed on solvespace.
but yes, it is correct :)
thanks
