WMF/EMF copy or export to file (by Rune)
For documentation purpose, it would be desirable to be able to copy paste directly from SS to e.g. a Word application. At the moment one can export as PDF (or SVG) and do some conversion but its rather awkward.
Any thoughts on how to implement this?

Have you tried EPS? You can't cut and paste, but Insert -> Picture should work in Word (or other Office apps), no conversion required.

The EPS does not have preview data and will only tender on PostScript printers. Therefore its a suboptimal solution. I've started to see if I can implement the EMF copy to clipboard

What version of Office are you using? It should preview on-screen and print on any printer with any modern version.

I 'upgraded' Office 2007 to word2000 ;-)
Anyway, copy paste is much faster than save +import.
Im looking into how to implement a EMF copy to clipbord using the SvgFileWriter as a model.
I've started studying:

But ran into problems mixing MFC with the SolveSpace project.
What do you think?

EMF copy implemented, but without colors. Let me know if someone is interested.
