Linking file doesn't show 3d body/geomatery... (by Abdul)
Hi,
I believe I opened a thread on this forum with the same issue but I can't find it here. Not sure whether I posted it correctly or it has been lost somewhere on the forum.

I have designed a leeadscrew of length 100mm and I wanted to make different lengths of lead screws from the base deign and combining them multiple times by linking to get different sizes.

The problem is when I try to link them in new file, 3D geometery is lost and I see nothing other than centre line and circles. The files are attached.

Can someone pointout what I am doing wrong?

Thanks

This looks like a bug, however by using "force NURBS surfaces to triangle mesh" in the first leadscrew in the assembly file, group, the solid model will show.
