Creating workplanes from plane surfaces (by Lou)
I'm just new to this application, but I was wondering if is there a direct way to create a sketching workplane from a plane surface. I mean: can't I just select a plane face and sketch on it? :D

No, it's not currently possible to do that. There is an open issue and we discussed it, but it may require some internal changes.
For now just select a point and 2 lines on the face and Shift->W.
