Import of STEP file possible? (by Garfield)
I would like to import a STEP file into a workplane, but could not find any way to do so in SolverSpace. Is there a possibility to do that?

While STEP export is possible, there is no support for import of STEP. If you can use another tool to read that and export as DXF you should then be able to import it into SolveSpace.
Question: You used the phrasing "import STEP file into a workplane". Does that mean you already have something (either 2D or 3D) created in SolveSpace and want to add the content of the STEP file to a workplane?

Exactly, that was my intention. I now opened the step file in FreeCAD and then exported as dxf.
