On apptempting run Solvespace on Ubuntu 20.044 I received the following
"no available configurations for the given RGBA format"
What can I do?

That looks like a problem with the graphics stack. Check for graphic driver and Opengl problems.
Alternatively there is a Snap available.

The current Snap has the problem. The version from app store (SolveSpace version 2.3) runs fine

Thanks Andrew and Marcus, I uninstalled and used Synaptic to reload, and it works just fine. Thanks you for your time and interest.

I had the same problem when installed from snap and after i uninstalled and installed via apt-get it ran fine. Thanks

Same. Looks like current snap has an issue on 18.04

sure, with the version from apt-get it is ok. but under bionic it is an outdated version.

Martin, on what operating system? There is no "install" on Windows, just delete the file sovespace.exe.
