Positioning and display of position (by Peter)
I cannot find how to edit the position of an object, say a circle. I know I could constrain it to a datum point, but how do I get a precise position of the datum point?
Also, is there a way to show the current position as an object is being moved?

You can set a points distance from the axes (in 2d) by selecting the point and an axis, (dashed lines). You can do the same from the planes when drawing in 3d. You could also use a construction line, and set its length, and angle from axis or planes.
