ELI5: How to smoothen edges (by Jonas)
Hi all!

I've been making baby steps with Solvespace in the past days - everything has been fairly intuitive. I was besides other things able to create a rectangle with rounded corners and extrude it - neat!

Now I want to smoothen the remaining edges, and that's where I'm stuck.

Does anyone have a details resource on how to do this? Maybe even a youtube video?

I've tried many things but nothing worked - appreciate any help!

Thanks
Jonas

You can use a difference extrusion as in the attached file. One note, on the implementation the arcs that make the actual cut are spaced o.oo1mm from the edges to avoid problems with the solver.solver. Adding the revolve group to round the corner causes issues that can be worked round by force NURBS surfaces to triangular mesh.

You can cut and paste sketches between sketch in plane groups.
