Cannot save files (by John Casson)
Running solvespace 3.0~0e0b0252 on xubuntu 20.04. Went through first tutorial, made a bracket, very impressed. Unfortunately cannot save, save as, or export resulting shape. Not good. When I try a save, no dialog is displayed, so cannot name file. As far as I can tell, the file is not being saved anywhere.

Solvespace installed as a snap.

Check the snap permissions, as Solvespace needs access o a directory to be able to save a file.

Cannot save files, permissions checked (by John Casson)
Thanks for reply. Permissions look good to me. As installed, only Read/Write on removable devices was disabled. I enabled that, but made no difference,

Try these if you can not figure out the Snap.

I run Solve Space on Ubuntu 18.04 - Gnome to my complete satisfaction. I also downloaded it from the SnapStore repository. I consider it a successful program. ATTENTION! to system (invisible - temporary) files that this program creates.
