Equivalent : "up to face" extrusion of freecad? (by Ektor)
Hello

On the example I have to make an extrusion like on the plan. I have to make it through. Then delete the excess part.
I was wondering if it was possible to do the same thing as on freecad and the "up to face" option?

Thanks

Select a point on the free end of the extrusion and a face and use on point, curve, plane, (O). You may have to enable make faces selectable from the properties window to allow face selection.

I did as you say.
but the result is not perfect.
on one hand there is a lack of material and on the other hand there is too much.

on the picture, I have broken down all the steps.

That's normal behaviour afaik. You just can extrude all the way bellow the plane and then remove the excess material.

Yes, but it is part of this task.

Also, instead of extrude "tube" it better extrude only "cylinder" (without hole).

Then cut unneeded part of "cylinder", and only after that drill hole inside "cylinder".

Ektor, see attachment with described fix applied.

NOTE: You should use latest SolveSpace 3.x nightly build: https://git.io/SolveSpace3x
