Tabbed box (by Jørgen Tietze)
Hi, I was wondering if there was a shortcut or better workflows to create a side for a tabbed box.
I would like to take just the outline of the following translations, to be a side in a tabbed box for laser cutting. I could do it manually, but I would really like to avoid that.
What I've done:
* created a rectangle 72mmx72mm
* assembled a part (6x12mm rectangle)
* translated it along the side (4 times)
* step rotated it around the center (4 times)
* would like to use the outline for:
-> extrusion
-> export 2d for laser cutting
And yes, I'm still learning solvespace, so suggestions are of course welcome!
Best regards,
Jørgen.

What you can do is extrude the first rectangle, then sketch the rectangle for the tabs, extrude as a difference,, and the apply step translations and rotations to remove the gaps between the tabs. While you can create holes by sketching a shape within a shape, the resulting figures must not have overlapping or crossing lines. The translate and rotate operation apply to the previous group.
