If you are referring to the drawing features of lines, points etc, you re hiding them by un-ticking 'show'.

Andrew - not the point or lines the entire imported solid get misssing open this file i uploaded (flatfoot with gusset plates welded in.slvs)

Inn the files you linked, you have "suppress this group's solid model" checked, as indicated by the group names being greyed in the properties home screen.

Andrew - i had removed all ticks from suppress this model and nurbs. still the files get removed automatically. Is this a bug in the app or im doing something wrong

You have moved a file, and so the linked file is no longer in the same relative directory. Just do as the dialogue suggests, and click yes and re-open it.

Andrew- no i havent moved any files. All files are in the root of my D- Drive. If i have multiple different imported files and follows as what the dialog says it doesnt work.

Is this not a bug in the app?

Maybe something about your filenames, spaces or special characters or something? I've never had this problem myself.

Tom - are you using windows version

Tom- i removed all the spaces in the file names still doest work.

When I tried your assembly file,I had to open the imported file from that messagebox. The message indicates that it thinks it should be linking from two directories up the tree,(../../).. from the file itself:.
impFileRel=../upright.slvs
Also, you have to save after re-opening the file for the change to take effect, and the program does not warn if you do not.
I use Manjaro..

Andrew- I had already done that. After saving, it still shows the dialog when reopening the file.
There is a bug in locating the missing files manually also.
Imaging I had imported two files for assembly named.
1. upright.slvs
2. topsupport.slvs
If we open the saved file and do as the dialog says
to locate manually the missing file ie; upright.slvs
If you do this, both
1. upright.slvs
2. topsupport.slvs
will the replaced by the upright.slvs
