Version 3.0 Release Candidate 2 is available (by Paul)
This will be the last pre-release version. The only thing we're waiting on is updated translations for 4 languages. Any last minute major bugs should be reported here:
https://github.com/solvespace/solvespace/issues
Of course you can post issues here if you don't have a Github account.

Thank you for this sofware :) (by Peneloppe PPE)
Thanks for this CAD Jesus,
I have tried most if not all reputable CAD softwares and none of them felt great to me ( or did not keep my files hostage )...
I have not yet imagined something I could not make with SolveSpace, the latest being a print in place bearing with 50 microns tolerances :P
If I had one thing to suggest for the future it would be about imports.
I cannot find a good workflow between blender or images and SolveSpace, and evidently I don't want to work with another CAD software (DXF) ;)
IDK about the feasibility of importing SVGs, Lines and curves ? :P I think that would open many doors and might be a cool side-addition ( even tho I'm pretty sure people here would like STEP import hehe ) Maybe assembly as a sketch? that would be cool, I think, lol.
Anyways THANK YOU

Disregard lmao (by Peneloppe PPE)
Well it seems Inkscape does DXF exports pretty well ;)

As far as I understand it, the main problem with any kind of "import" is that a file of rigidly placed lines is not a parametric design, which is what Solvespace is meant to work with. At best, you'd either get an imported design where everything is constrained "where dragged" which is a piss-poor parametric design, or a flappy design with zero constraints whatsoever. The whole concept of parametric design really just lends itself best to defining something IN your parametric CAD, not trying to load something designed elsewhere. Then again, what do I know...
