Userfriendly ways of dealing with constraints (by Joel de Bruijn)
Nice and thanks!
Also lot of features dealing with constraints.
Helps me a lot I expect.

Helix Control. (by Andrew)
Helix is useful, in that it allows modelling of coil springs and screw thread etc. As useful helices can have 10's of turns, it could do with property in the property window to set handedness, and number of turns or pitch. The number of turns is useful for coil springs, where the number of turns remain constant with changes in length,. Pitch is useful for screw threads. This could be two groups like revolve/lathe, or as a set of radio buttons.

@Andrew. I'm planning to add a pitch parameter in the text window, but that isnt going to make it in v3.0. Internally the helix is represented by a length and angle parameter, so pitch will have to constrain those to some ratio. I'm holding off because it may be tricky to have a constraint like that which can be created or removed at any time via the text window. In other words I'm not sure exactly how to do it yet ;-)
There's an open issue for it on Github tagged with 4.0 milestone if anyone else wants to try implementing it that's where to discuss details.

Helix Control (by Andrew)
I do not have a github account, so will comment here.
As i understand it rotation is the turn of the helix, therefore would it be easy to add a text rotation field to the properties. as turns and fractions of a turn are easy to convert to and from an angle. That would make it much easier to deal with tens of turns. While error prone, this could also be used for threads as the turns for a length are easy to calculate. (And this approach is probably more reliable than trying to count turns). Also being able to set turns meets the needs of modelling springs. (The change of diameter with change length can be ignored for almost all spring use)

Omg, this render performance increase on macOS! Its sooo fluid, thank you so much!

Solvespace is slowly but surely becoming the Inkscape of the CAD world...

@Azial, please download the latest Edge build from over here: https://github.com/solvespace/solvespace/releases/tag/edge for smooth zooming on macOS and let me know if it's working fine ;)

Yup working fine, but I didn't notice any difference to the 3.0RC1. Both are running super smooth on my 5k iMac in native resolution :)
