An imported component is a rigid body? (by Rune)
Hello, it seems like an imported part behaves like a rigid body. I would like to import a hinge and constrain against it to make it open/close, can it be done?

Correct. So the best way to draw that is the same as for a linkage--with each rigid body as a separate part, and with the constraint on their motion in the assembly file.
