rotating objects (by Andy)
dear developers,

the rotating-function (view) ist NOT INTUITIVE and very difficult to use. It is almost impossible, to move the object in that position, I want to see. Each time, I am surprised, which axis is used to rotate. Can't find any logic. Please have a look at BLENDER or CINEMA 4D. They work well. At least, it must be possible to limit the rotating-axes to only one. So I could move the object step-by-step into the right position.

thank you.

A point on the front of the object moves in the same direction that you're center-dragging, takes some getting used to but seemed intuitive enough to me. Ctrl-center-drag rotates just one axis, but it's always the axis of the screen so I doubt it does what you want.
