export fidelity depends on zoom level (by Jack)
When I export to stl, I notice that if I'm zoomed out, the output mesh is not as detailed as when I'm zoomed in.
It would be nice to be able to control how precisely things like circles are approximated during export, or alternatively, to have the export always include the maximum level of detail.
Cheers,
Jack

There's no such thing as a maximum level of detail; you could always add more triangles to approximate non-planar surfaces more closely. You can control the tolerances for that in the configuration screen ("home" in the browser window, then "configuration" at the bottom right), with "chord tolerance" and "max piecewise linear segments".
It still interacts with the zoom level, though. To make that repeatable, you could zoom to fit and then Edit -> Regenerate; or you could show the mesh, and then zoom and regenerate until the mesh looks good.
