enhancement suggestion ... goal-seek feature (by Charles Pierce)
The particular application I have in mind is mechanism design, and goal-seek would be a feature that greatly enhances SolveSpace for this. By goal-seek I mean the ability to set a target for one value (generally a dimension, especially if it were some dimensional characteristic of a traced path), and select one or more other values to be automatically manipulated so as to get the value within some specified tolerance of the target.

Can you post an example of what you're trying to do? In general, that's what the constraint solver does already: the target is any dimension that you set, and the values that get automatically manipulated are everything else.
