Bad render performance on macOS (by Azial)
So, I noticed that the render/display performance of the Mac version of solvespace (testing 2.3) is very bad.
I am not talking about solving performance, but the fluidity of the 3D viewport, i.e. navigating is really choppy (like 10 fps).
However, this has nothing to do with the machine: I made a wineskin wrapper for the windows version of solvespace (Like described in http://wineskin.urgesoftware.c...l+6.1+Wrapper+for+Wine+Notepad, but I had to check all boxes in "other options" in the "Set Screen Options" in "Advanced Options" of the Wineskin app inside the wrapper package).
This thing is soooo fluid, I have like 60 fps (well, the monitor has 60 Hz and I don't notice any chops).
Why is that not the case for the native application?
In both cases, the graphics card engine is displayed under configurations:
g vendor: ATI Technologies Inc.
renderer: AMD Radeon Pro 580 OpenGL Engine
version: 2.1 ATI-1.60.26
