How to make a donation? (by Rhemzo)
Hello,

I'm in love with solvespace since I began to work with it to design my cardboard templates.
So, I would like to know if you guys have a paypal account so I could make a donation. It's is not much but I will feel happy for doing it.

Thanks for the good work.

I don't have a suitable PayPal account. Maybe Jonathan does.

I don't, and I'm not sure the prospective donations are enough to justify the administrative work in setting that up. I guess we could add a BTC address or something?

@Rhemzo, I'd note that if you send money personally to whitequark, then he is likely to spend it in a way that advances development of the program.

I cannot meaningfully withdraw BTC either. @Rhemzo, I can provide an European bank account if you are in the EU (in which case the transfer would be free, AFAIK), or a Hong Kong bank account, but otherwise it is likely that the fees (and hassle) will be worth more than the amount donation.

I'm Located in Brazil so the transfer won't worth it.
Anyway, thanks for the attention.

I'm a hobbyist 3d print, new user, potential contributor. Had been working with blender and openScad, but was missing something. SolveSpace worked well for me "out of the box" within couple hour of video and tutorial browsing. Love the power and ubiquity of keybound tools. Love the Simplicity of the interface, and how the details window "Property Browser" always shows you only the relevant blocks of info, and sorts things. Took me a bit to realize "home" was a button and then it all clicked. It feels very natural for me, from solid works and cad background. It does have a couple oddities but with the ease of creation I was able to achieve in my first day of the tool, I am impressed. You guys potentially saved me hundreds a month compared to the corporate options available. Seems like I should donate for that alone. I had already started saving up for them, but now don't see the point. You trying to compel me to contribute instead of donating? Unless that is your game, Personally I think you guys are fools if you haven't set up something like a patreon. The overhead is minimal, and I think you might get more than you expect. Your time is definitely worth something to me. Thanks for the great tool.

Hi Ryan,

Even as a fairly small contributor I am very glad to hear that you like SoveSpace.

Donations have been discussed a few times in the past here are some links:
