My .slvs to draw ellipse/oval with spline (by using cubic Bezier curve tool) (by u6006)
Attached is my .slvs to draw ellipse with spline. It can be imported or redrawn in other .slvs files to approximately simulate ellipse.

I believe this topic had been discussed previously. However, an example will help people to avoid scratching their heads when running into this issue.

The other relatively accurate method is to use 3 arcs to construct 90 degree arc of an ellipse.

For the record, the reason this does not produce an exact ellipse, since that would require rational curves and the Bezier tool only defines non-rational ones. But it should suffice for many uses, meanwhile.
