Level of detail of imported files, (by Rune)
Hi, I import two identical cylinders, one was zoomed out and the other zoomed in when saved. The file test.slvs shows that the zoomed out is like hexagonal instead of sperical (a large problem for my 3D printing). I cannot find the part of the code that controls this, as I thought it would be reasonable to have an option of fixing the rendering detail to a given number when exporting. Alternatively I think it would be good to be able to re-render when importing. Could you please guide me to where in the code I should insert control of the rendering before save?
See attachment.
Thanks

My proposed solution is in the SaveToFile method.

First we apply a costumizable zoom factor.
GenerateAll
save
and reapply the old zoom.
