Hi, When importing a new component it always is appended to the tree of groups. You may want to change an imported component with a version having a different geometry. My workaround for this is to open the xxx.slvs file with a text editor and find the place where it says
"Group.impFile = ..... yyy.slvs"
and
"Group.impFileRel=yyy.slvs"

Then change the filename here, save and reload the xxx.slvs in solvespace. In that way you can change the version of a component.
Maybe in a future version there could be a "replace component" command.
