Solvespace seems to remember old dimensions (by Maurizio Ferreira)
In this projects, the main assembly, 'macchina' imports the modules
'base' , 'topgroup', 'new-motor-assembly' (in dir 'motore') and 'assieme-idle' (in idle).

'topgroup' imports 'supporto' (twice) and 'assieme-top' (in dir 'top')

'assieme-top' imports 'asse', 'disco' (twice) , 'rondella' (three times) 'portaneutro' (twice) and 'puleggia-sup' (twice)

Initially I gave to 'asse' a certain dimension, ad all went ok.

Then, just for test, i gave 'asse' a different dimension.
If you open 'asse' or assieme-top you can see the new asse dimension, 194.

If you open topgroup, you see the right dimension (194).

However if you open 'insieme', the main project, you see that 'asse' is shorter than it should be. (it has the initial length I gave to it)

This is a problem similar to a my previous post ('erroneous dimensions in import') where I couldn't give you all the files.

Is this a bug of the program ?

Best regards.

Maurizio.

You have run into a peculiarity of Solvespace, in that dimension changes need importing files to be opened and saved to propagate the changes. Open and save assieme-top and topgroup, and then open and save insieme, and all should be OK.

Thanks, this solved my problem.
