quick construction / dimensioning (by Jack)
Hello,
Is it possible to toggle into a "mode" in which all shapes and dimensions are either construction or reference?
If not this would be a super helpful feature. Currently when I make construction lines, I draw a real line, solvespace thinks for awhile and gets angry at me, then I have to select the line and toggle it, which is sometimes difficult due to surrounding geometry. Similarly, when I am dimensioning a part for readability in the machine shop, I first use a constraint, solvespace think and gets angry, then I select it and "REF" it.
Let me know if I can help!
Cheers,
Jack

That might be a nice feature. Although, for the "dimensioning for readability" case, SolveSpace already supports "treat all dimensions as reference" for a particular group. So if you're trying to create a human-readable dimensioned sketch, then you can draw your sketch, create a new group, check that box, and create only reference dimensions by default.
