Solvespace slow with assembly (by Eric Buijs)
I created a case consisting of several parts in total. When I assemble these parts in Solvespace the program becomes very slow when I add the four feet (simple cylinders in this case). I left out the HDD and the Raspberry Pi in the assembly but the problem persists. Any idea how to solve this?

I use Solvespace v2.3 on an 2011 iMac, OSX version 10.10.5

I have no such problem. Could you record some video?

@Eric Buijs, so, I has also lags when try open it and switch between parts.

I use Solvespace v2.3 on an 2007 Samsung R58P, MX Linux MX-17 (Debian 9 "Stretch")

Anyway, now I has few ideas, but give me an answers for:

1) "lms_part_top.slvs" - is it like single part 3D-printed or combination of flat plate with few connections attached?

2) Why circle inside "cyllinder.slvs" drawn with offset and look like not fixed? Why not cobstrain center of circle to base point point (0.00, 0.00, 0.00)? Think, needed offset could be added in assembly.

3) Did you use step and repeat translating for oval holes in "lms_part_bottom.slvs"?

Please, give this info. Now I try fully reconstruct this assembly using some tricks, so soon will give You own variant of it.

UPD: Just reconstructed & polished this assembly (screenshot attached).

@Eric Buijs, one question: where should be placed cylinders and how many?

After it, think, I will complete it and could publish fixed assembly files.

Can you desribe in details, how I can reproduce this?

@EvilSpirit, this look like a bug of assembly, where inside linked drawings (inside each slvs) are many sketches and models, that are not hard constrained.

On low-end PC's, as @Eric Buijs & me used, such type of assembly overload CPU and RAM.

I don't know how reproduce it on hi-end PC with powerfull CPU and RAM more than few GBytes.

UPD2: @EricBuijs, think now I understand what where those cylinders should be placed -- just found your blogpost on related design ;-)

Why you not published link to it firstl? Anyway, today I will upload fixed model!

Fixed assembly attached

@Eric Buijs, all part of it fully redesigned, so digg inside every group of each SLVS

@app4soft @EvilSpirit. Sorry for the late reaction guys but thanks for your response. I hadn't visited the forum lately.

@app4soft: Thanks for the redesigned version. Allow me some time to check the differences.
