Tolerance analysis (by Mike)
Hello
I'm using solvespace for simple tolerance stackup calculations , its very handy but i would like to automate process a bit. Let's say i have a plate with a hole and a shaft that should fit into that hole. I would want to run heavy simulations of positions and diameters of hole and a shaft and check for interference. Im not a programming expert, but I have some background in python/matlab so i thought that this could be done by modyfing .slvs positions and diameters by replacing text and now some magical function that returns true or false value if there is collision between parts. Is this doable using solvespace and some 3rd party app like matlab or is it some kind of rocket science?
Regards

This would be doable with solvespace with fairly minor modifications. Unfortunately this does not come into my roadmap very soon. Once https://github.com/solvespace/solvespace/issues/77 is fixed, you will gain the ability to do the simulations you want; ping me then.
