STEP file Export Problem (by Ricard Rovira)
Hi,
I'm starting to use Solvespace so this question could be a little bit silly.
I haven't been able to read an exported STEP file.
I tried with FreeCad and some on-line viewers but I couldn't read it.
Could you tell me if I am doing something wrong?
Is there any workaround to overcome this issue?
Thanks a lot.

Have you tried opening it in [the trial version of] Rhino? That's what I usually use for testing.

hi
how to do ( example ) :
1 - drawing a rectangle
2 - extruding
3 - exporting surface
you will find explanation on the attached file
You can also use trial version of MOI ( Moment of Inspiration )
to test

I've noticed a difference. (by J B)
STEPs I create in FreeCAD can be opened again in FreeCAD.
STEPs I create in Solvespace open as an empty project in FreeCAD.
Both FreeCAD and Solvespace STEPs open in Solidworks and Solidworks STEPs open in FreeCAD.
Each test file is a quickly drawn box. I've attached all three.

This still seems to be a problem.
